Manchester City can close the gap on Premier League leaders Arsenal to two points with a win at Sunderland on Thursday.
Pep Guardiola’s side appear the closest challengers to the Gunners and have won their last eight games in all competitions.
Sunderland have won one of their last five but are unbeaten in the top flight at the Stadium of Light this season.
Arsenal are the only other side yet to lose at home in the 2025/26 division, with that record helping Regis Le Bris’ side start the day in seventh.
