The Six Nations referees, assistants and TMOs appointed for the 2026 tournament are sure to have a big role to play over the next few weeks of international rugby action.
Players, coaches and fans of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales will be keeping a close eye on who’s taking charge of their team’s matches, looking for tiny differences in their interpretation of the breakdown, or the way they communicate with captains.
The officials, meanwhile, will be happiest if they’re not making headlines, because that’ll mean we’re talking about the rugby rather than any marginal decisions they’ve been forced to make.
